Lakers Roll Past Jefferson in Final Home Game

Canandaigua, N.Y. -In their final home game of the season, the Lakers would not be denied, defeating Jefferson 78-60.

Riding the momentum of winning four of their last six games, the Lakers came out strong and never looked back. Leading the way early was sophomore Joe Caito (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy) who paced the team with nine points heading into halftime. Caito would continue his efficient performance, finishing with 15 points and four rebounds in just 20 minutes of action.  Sophomore Ian Florence (Rochester, N.Y./McQuaid) had a productive night, finishing with 19 points while knocking down five three-pointers.  George Spinelli (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy) added an all-around performance, tallying 11 points while also dishing out seven assists.

The Lakers will hit the road for their final three games of the season, beginning with a matchup against Tompkins Cortland Community College on Saturday at 2 p.m.
