Lakers Host Bruce Bridgman Invitational
CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – Finger Lakes Community College hosted its home meet, the Bruce Bridgman Invitational, on September 13th on the FLCC Bruce Bridgman Memorial Course.
In the men's 8K, sophomore William Andrew (Newark, N.Y./East Palmyra Christian) was the top finisher for the Lakers, placing 19th overall in 34:50.3. Classmate Griffin Miller (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy) followed in 29th at 35:39.8, while freshman Kyan Powers (Seneca Falls, N.Y./Mynderse Academy) rounded out the lineup in 46:54.3.
On the women's side, sophomore Kayla Dunstan (Ontario, N.Y./Wayne) led the Lakers with a time of 27:44.5 in the 6K, placing 20th overall. Alana Bedell (Newark, N.Y./Newark) came through in 30:49.1 to round out the women's squad.
