Canadaigua, N.Y. - The Lakers Women's Basketball team endured a challenging weekend, dropping a pair of contests. On Saturday, the Lakers faced the Herkimer Generals and came up short by a score of 77–49. The weekend concluded on Sunday with an 81–29 loss to Fulton-Montgomery.
Game 1 VS Herimer
Ava Read (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy) led the Lakers on Saturday, posting a team-high 21 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. The performance marked her third consecutive double-double. Breanna Dunning (Penn Yan, N.Y./Penn Yan Academy) turned in a complete performance, finishing with 11 points and six rebounds.
Game 2 VS Fulton-Montgomery
