Personal Bests Highlight Harry F. Anderson Invitational

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Lakers continued their 2025 season on September 27th with an appearance at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, hosted by Roberts Wesleyan University.

In the men's 8K, sophomore Griffin Miller (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy) led Finger Lakes with a time of 31:39.7. He was followed by sophomore William Andrew (Newark, N.Y./East Palmyra Christian) in 35:34.3. Freshman Akeel Henry made his collegiate debut, finishing in 40:38.4, while freshman Kyan Powers (Seneca Falls, N.Y./Mynderse Academy) clocked 43:00.9, nearly six minutes faster than his run at the Bruce Bridgman Invitational.

For the women's 5K, sophomore Kayla Dunstan (Ontario, N.Y./Wayne) paced the Lakers in 26:39.8. Classmate Alana Bedell (Newark, N.Y./Newark) followed in 27:00.8, and freshman Megan McGregor (Marion, N.Y./Marion) posted a personal-best time of 34:38.0.

Looking Ahead: Finger Lakes returns to action on Saturday, October 11th at Houghton University for the Highlander Invitational.
