Lakers Esports Close Out NJCAAe Preseason Strong

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – As the NJCAAe preseason comes to a close and playoff qualifiers begin, FLCC Esports continues to surge forward, showing no signs of slowing down in its pursuit of another league title.

Asa McKaig remains dominant in Hearthstone, collecting three wins last week to secure the #1 spot in the regular-season standings.

In team play, Marvel Rivals Green posted an impressive 3-0 sweep over State Fair Community College, solidifying themselves as one of the toughest squads in the league.

The Lakers' Valorant team also delivered a statement performance, sweeping DuPage College 2-0 and positioning themselves as a major contender heading into playoff rounds.

Outside of competition, the Esports team joined the campus celebration for Laker Day, hosting an open play event and sharing the student lounge with the Lego Club and Math Department, where students collaborated on massive Lego builds and geometric polyhedra throughout the afternoon.
