Lloyd, Oberdorf Lead for the Lakers at Harry F. Anderson Invitational

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Finger Lakes Community College men's and women's cross country teams traveled to Roberts Wesleyan College Saturday, September 24th for the Harry F. Anderson Invitational.

Men

For the men, Michael Oberdorf (Newark, N.Y./ Newark) earned the top spot for the men's team, finishing 107th with a time of 30:01.3 which stands as a PR for the Freshman. Oberdorf's mark improves by over a minute, compared to his mark of 31:17 at the Bruce Bridgeman Invitational just a week ago. Freshman Jackson McManus (Rochester, N.Y./ Greece Arcadia) followed with the second best time of 30:29.9 (115th) also a PR for the Freshman.

Nathan Weed (Horseheads, N.Y./ Horseheads), 38:19 (159th) PR

Noah Mattison (Marion, N.Y./ Marion), 44:18.1 (170th) PR

Women

Sophomore Leah Lloyd (Macedon, N.Y./ Palmyra-Macedon) earned a 49th place finish at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational. Lloyd finished as the top finisher for the Lakers on the women's side. Lloyd significantly improved her time from the week prior, improving her time from 22:08.7 a week ago to 20:19.3, good for a 49th place finish.

The event will serve as a fundraiser for the Lakers cross country and track & field teams.
