Men's Soccer Blanks Jefferson CC

WATERTOWN, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College men's soccer team broke through for nine second-half goals to earn a 10-0 victory Wednesday over Jefferson Community College. 

Freshman Chuck Domm (East Rochester, N.Y./East Rochester) scored three goals goals with three assists while his brother, freshman Russell Domm (East Rochester, N.Y./East Rochester) added four goals with two assists to power the Lakers (5-3). 

Sophomore Carson DeVinney (Perry, N.Y./Perry) added two goals while freshman Nate Masucci (Rochester, N.Y./Greece Athena) scored his first goal of the season and added two assists, and classmate Gunnar Wetzel (Honeoye Falls, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) added his second assist of the season to fuel FLCC, which had assists on eight of its 10 goals.

Freshman Mike Rasciatore (Rochester, N.Y./East Rochester) made five saves and classmate Josh Hadcock (Mexico, N.Y./Mexico) came on in relief and finished with three saves to help secure the shutout for the Lakers. 

For the season, Chuck Domm currently sits with the second-most goals among NJCAA Region III student-athletes with 17, while classmate Evan Stevely (Rochester, N.Y./Bishop Kearney) is fourth with 10 goals. Chuck Domm currently is second in Region III in points (41) and is third in assists (seven), while Rasciatore is second in saves (57). 

The Lakers kick off a three-game homestand welcoming Genesee Community College to campus at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 28^th. FLCC also hosts the Roberts Wesleyan JV squad (Sept. 30) and Tompkins Cortland Community College (Oct. 3).
