Lakers Win in Three

CANANDAIGUA, NY--The Lakers improved their conference record to 3-3 after defeating Tompkins Cortland Community College 25-14, 25-16, 25-10. The Lakers relied on strong serving and a solid defensive effort to get the win and secure a spot in the Mid-State Athletic Conference post season tournament.

Ryenn Smith had 16 kills and 16 digs, which puts her at recording her 14th double-double of the season with kills and digs. Courtney Bradish had 7 kills, 4 aces and 8 digs. Ali Drier rounded out the offensive attack with 6 kills and contributed 3 solo blocks on the night. Jessie Blumenfeld had 25 assists and 8 digs.

The Lakers are traveling to Onondaga Community College to participate in the Cara Bryant Memorial Tournament on Friday, October 11th and Saturday, October 12th. They will start the tournament against Herkimer Community College on Friday, October 11th at 4:15 p.m.
