Lakers Currently 2-0 In Conference Play

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Women's Basketball team won their second conference game of the season over the SUNY Broome Hornets this past Thursday. The Lakers won 69-32.

The Lakers started out close with the Hornets at the beginning of the game. They ended the first quarter only ahead by one. After that, they were off and ready to win the game staying ahead by big margins. They never once let the Hornets score more than them.

The Lakers outshot the Hornets in both field goal percentage and three-point percentage. The Lakers shot 38% in the field compared to the Hornets' 24%. The Lakers shot 33.3% in threes while the Hornets only shot 10.5%.

Game leaders for the Lakers were Sarah Lacey with 25 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists, and three blocks, Alivia Ginther with 13 points, and Teaonna Jenkins with 11 rebounds.
