The Lakers Dominate The Timberwolves

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Women's Basketball team dominated the SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves this past Sunday. The Lakers won 60-45.

The Lakers came to play against the Timberwolves. They kept their lead throughout the entire game, not letting up. They ended the half with a score of 26-24. They kept it close in the beginning, but really came out in the second half. They scored 22 compared to the Timberwolves' 13 in the third quarter.

The Lakers shot 37.3% in the field while the Timberwolves shot 23.8%. The Lakers also shot the exact same as the Timberwolves for threes with 16.7%.

Game leaders for the Lakers were Sarah Lacey with 18 points, and four blocks, and Ranaveya Richards with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists.

The Lakers will play next at home against the Tompkins Cortland Community College Panthers on Wednesday, December 6th. They will play at 5:30pm.
