Women's Basketball Tops Twins

The Finger Lakes Community College women's basketball team claimed their first win of the 2016-17 season on Saturday, November 5 after defeating the Twins from Columbia-Greene Community College by a final score of 65-50.

The Lakers outscored the Twins in three of the four quarters.  Ranaveya Richards led the Lakers scoring with 27 points, going 12-14 from the floor.  Megan Howell finished with 15 points, shooting 70 percent from the floor.  Megan McAllister and Princess Santos had eight points apiece.

The Lakers will return to action on Tuesday, November 8 when they face the Thunder Wolves from Niagara County Community College in a NJCAA Region III showdown.
