Finger Lakes Goes 1-1 on the Road

The Finger Lakes Community College Women's Basketball team went 1-1 last weekend against Hudson Valley Community College and SUNY Adirondack.  The Lakers are now 4-6 on the season.

Finger Lakes faced Hudson Valley Community College on Saturday.  The Lakers outscored the Vikings in every quarter but the Third.  The final score was 65-44 in favor of the Lakers.

Shelby Dugan led the scoring for the Lakers on Saturday going 10-17 and a perfect free throw percentage for a total of 26 points.  Monica Brennan added another 14 points for Finger Lakes.  Krystal Hunter scored 10 points coming off the bench for the Lakers.

Following Saturday's game, the Lakers faced SUNY Adirondack on Sunday.  The Lakers were outplayed by the Timber Wolves as they lost be a final score of 65-54.

Krystal Hunter led the Lakers scoring on Sunday with 12 points.  Michelle Broderick and Monica Brennan scored an additional 11 points a piece for the Lakers.

The Lakers return to action tomorrow night as they host the Panthers from Tompkins Cortland Community College in a MSAC match-up. Tipoff is set for 5:30pm on Putt Moore Court.
