Finger Lakes Community College sophomore Michaela Anderson (Dansville, N.Y./Dansville), a standout on the softball team, was named to the Mid-State Athletic Conference's (MSAC) All-Conference team.
Anderson, who excelled at first base, led the Lakers (7-18, 7-12 Region III) in batting average (.432), batting 32-for-74 while appearing in 24 games.
Anderson ranked second on the team in hits, doubles (5), and on-base percentage (.463), and was third in both runs scored (19) and slugging percentage (.527). She also drove in 15 runs and was successful on all four of her stolen base attempts.
Anderson closed out the season on a nine-game hitting streak, batting .500 (16-for-32) as the Lakers closed out the season winning their final six games.
