Men's Track Competes In Penn Relays

The Finger Lakes Community College men's track team participated in the 2016 Penn Relays on Friday April 29th.   Adam Thorman, Lane Howard, Nate Murad and Jerrett Laskett ran in the College Division 4x100 meter relay finishing in 45.70 seconds, the fastest time thus far this season.  The same four man team ran 1:33.90 in the 4x200 meter relay and set a new school record! 

In the final race for the Lakers, the team of Corey Hurley, Lane Howard, Nate Murad and Jerrett Laskett ran in the 4x400 meter relay in a time of 3:33.83 however, due to a lane violation, the Lakers were disqualified in their heat.  

"It was a good day overall, as it gave our men's relay teams tremendous competition in preparing them for the upcoming NJCAA National Championships on May 7th and 8th." -Head Coach Scott Williams

The Lakers will travel to SUNY-Delhi on Saturday, May 1st, to take part in the 2016 Region III Championships.
