PITTSFORD, NY -- The Men's track and field team traveled to Saint John Fisher College this weekend and performed well with many personal records.
In the 100 meters, Adam Thorman, Lane Howard, Jeremia Solecki and Bill Hartman all ran personal season bests respectively, 12.17, 12.20, 12.29 and 13.40. In the 5K run, Chuck Collins finished in 5th place in 15:48, his second fastest time on the season. Colin Delgado finished his 5K in a season best 18:58.53. In the 200 meter run, Lane Howard finished in 30th place, in a season best time of 24.46. Jeremia Solecki ran a season PR in the 110 meter hurdles in 17.86. Devan Halton jumped 5.78 (18' 11.75") in a season best in the long jump. Mike Newcomb through the 16 pound shot 30'7.5" in a season best performance as well. Luke Shively cleared a season best, 1.75 meters (5' 8.75") in the high jump. Corey Hurley ran a season best 2:06.1 in the 800 meter run. Lane Howard, Adam Thorman and Aidan Snyder all ran season bests in the 400 meter run, in 55:22, 57.86 and 1:13.84 respectively.
The team will travel to the Regional Division III Championships this weekend, on Friday and Saturday at SUNY Delhi.
