DRYDEN, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Men's Soccer team competed at the Tompkins Cortland Community College Soccer Tournament this weekend. They had their first win of the season against the Hudson Valley Community College Vikings this past Saturday, 2-0.
Coming off of a tough loss last week, the Lakers found the win they were looking for. Felipe Gonzalez started off the scoring for the Lakers. He was assisted by Gabriel Mendoza. Then, later on in the half, the Lakers scored their final goal of the game. Dylan Wood scored his first of the season, assisted by Gonzalez.
Game leaders for the Lakers were Gonzalez with one goal, and one assist, Wood with one goal, and Goal Keeper, Travis Cotton, with two saves.
