The Finger Lakes Men's Soccer team traveled to Rochester, NY yesterday to face off against the Roberts Wesleyan JV squad. The Lakers defeated the redhawks by a final score of 4-0. Finger Lakes is now 3-13-1 on the season.
The Lakers had a strong outing vs. the Redhawks yesterday. From the first whistle, Finger Lakes began pressing the Redhawks defense and producing high percentage shots. The first goal of the day came from Jon Krocke, who burried the ball in the net after a Zach stedman corner kick. Not long after Christian Kasinge scored off a deflection from a Quinton Ashley free kick. The Lakers would go into halftime ahead 2-0.
The Lakers continued their run in the second half. The first goal of the half came from Quinton Ashley from well outside the box putting the Lakers up 3-0 against the Redhawks. The final score of the day came from Jeremiah Johnson from distance. He was assisted by defender Gerardo Nunez. The Lakers would end the day victorious over the Redhawks 4-0.

The Lakers will return for their final regular season game of the year this wednesday, 10/21. They will travel to Johnstown, NY to face the Fulton-Montgomery Community College in a Region III matchup. Kickoff is set for 4pm.
