Lakers Beat Spartans To Keep Up Win Streak

AUBURN, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Men's Basketball team added another win to their win streak against the Cayuga Community College Spartans on Wednesday. The Lakers won 82-75.

The Lakers started out ahead in the first half of the game. The Spartans were right behind them with the Lakers only being up 35-31. Both teams were fighting to get on top. In the second half, the Lakers score 47 points, and the Spartans were still right behind them with 44 more points. It wasn't enough for the Spartans and the Lakers took the win home.

Even though they won, the Lakers did not shoot as well in the field as the Spartans. The Lakers shot 41.1% while the Spartans shot 47%. The Lakers did shoot better for three pointers with a 34.6%.

Game leaders for the Lakers were Keon Dunbar with 26 points, Shane Fanning with 23 points, 7 rebounds, and Elijah Idlett with 13 points, and 10 rebounds.
