CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Men's Basketball team continued their win streak to four wins on Saturday against the Jefferson Community College Cannoneers. The Lakers won 105-66.
The Lakers started strong, right at the beginning of the game. Trayvon Holt made a layup a little under two minutes into the game that pushed the Lakers to a 6-0 lead. This prompted a time out called by the Cannoneer's coach. This lead kept up throughout the entire game. The Lakers ended the first half up 59-25. The Cannoneers bounced back a little in the second half and scored only 5 points less than the Lakers. The Lakers had such a lead in the first half that it was not enough, and the Lakers took home the win.
The Lakers shot very well throughout the game, shooting 56.8%. They also shot very well for three pointers shooting 58.3%.
The Lakers will play next on February 10th at Corning Community College. They will play at 2:00pm.
