Comeback Not Enough For Men's Basketball

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Men's Basketball team lost a close one to the Schenectady County Community College Royals on Sunday. The Lakers lost 67-62.

The Royals took the lead in the first half of the game, leading the Lakers 35-21. After halftime, the Lakers found their rhythm and started making more baskets. They ended up outscoring the Royals 41-32. They did not have enough time to take the lead and fell 67-62.

The Royals shot better than the Lakers, shooting 45.1% compared to the Lakers' 39.3%. They however shot well in three pointers with a percentage of 34.5% while the Royals only shot 29.4%.

Game leaders for the Lakers were Keon Dunbar with 20 points, Shane Fanning with 18 points, and Trayvon Holt with 10 points, and 12 rebounds.
