Lakers Fall Just Short To The Raiders

CANANDAIGUA, NY – The Finger Lakes Community College Men's Basketball team lost a tough one to the Fulton-Montgomery Raiders on Sunday. They lost 91-86.

During the first half, both teams were shooting pretty well in the field. The Lakers shot 46.4% while the Raiders shot 55.2%. It was a quick game that ended 43-37 at the half. After half time, the Lakers started coming back and even gained the lead multiple times. They ended up scoring 49 points in the second half, one more than the Raiders. It turned out to not be enough and the Lakers fell again 91-86.

The Lakers shot 42.2% in the field, while the Raiders shot 47.7%. The Raiders shot 50% in threes and the Lakers only shot 30.8%. Both teams had 40 rebounds.

Game leaders for the Lakers were Keon Dunbar with 26 points, Enrique Mosman with two assists, and Elijah Idlett with two assists and 17 rebounds.

The Lakers will play next at home on Saturday, December 16th. They will play the Columbia-Greene Twins at 3:00pm.
