CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Men's Basketball team finished out their weekend with a loss to the Herkimer College Generals this past Sunday. The Lakers lost 67-46.
The Lakers fell to a 17 point deficit in the first half, with the Generals outscoring them 37-20. The Lakers were having a hard time making their shots, with only having a 32.8% field goal percentage in the first half.
The second half was a much better half for the Lakers. They came out of half time with a little more momentum. Keon Dunbar had a couple of key steals that brought points on the board for the Lakers. Their shooting percentage went up as well. The Generals only outscored them 30-26 in the second half.
The Lakers shot 32.8% in the field and 8% for threes. They also had 30 rebounds.
The Lakers play next on Tuesday, November 21st against the Niagara County Community College Thunder Wolves. They will play at home at 7:30pm.
