Men's Basketball Finishes 1-1 Over Weekend

The Finger Lakes Community College men's basketball team finished their weekend 1-1 on the road against Region III opponents Fulton-Montgomery Community College and Herkimer College.  

On Saturday, December 10 the Lakers traveled to Fulton-Montgomery Community College and fell to the Raiders by a final score of 85-77.  Shabazz Mosley led the Lakers with 26 points and seven assists.  Jonathan Range finished with 23 points and 14 rebounds.  Shane Fanning had 10 points for the Lakers.

Following Saturday's match-up, The Lakers faced the Herkimer Generals on Sunday, December 11. The Lakers topped the Generals in Sunday's contest 82-63.  Jonathan Range and Shabazz Mosley both finished with a double double. Range had 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Mosley finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists.  Shane Fanning scored 16 points for the Lakers.  Jose Santell rounded out the Lakers scoring with 15 points.

The Lakers will have a long break ahead of them as their next match is scheduled Thursday, January 12 against the Hornets from Broome Community College.
