CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Athletic Department will be hosting Dr. Craig Cypher, a clinical psychologist with a concentration in the athletic setting on Wednesday, November 29th at 5:00pm in Stage 14 on campus.
Dr. Cypher is a New York State Licensed Psychologist with a Bachelor’s Degree from Boston College, and a Doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Originally from Rochester, N.Y., Dr. Cypher provides psychological consultation services to social service agencies, sports medicine programs, sport-focused corporations, and youth sports organizations, both in the area, and nationally.
Dr. Cypher will be covering topics of Sports Psychology that will both bring knowledge and skills to help student-athletes and improve their well-being. He wants to focus on how important mental strength is in an athlete, as well as physical talents.
